Hi, I'm Lisa. Over the past 28 years, I’ve studied with many well-respected teachers from different wisdom traditions that have helped me cultivate a uniquely rich and happy life. I’ve immersed myself in a pathway of meditation and yoga that gives me deep joy, insight and clarity into the nature of life. My personal practice includes wisdom from classical Yogic Philosophy, Vipassana (Insight Meditation), nature-based and nondual practices, all supported by foundational practices of kindness and compassion. My gift is helping others elevate their own levels of happiness and fulfillment so that they too can live their very best life. I’m a graduate of Kripalu’s School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership offering outdoor experiences that weave elements of forest bathing, earthing, sky gazing, yoga, gratitude, and so much more. I’m a mindfulness coach in Shinzen Young’s unique and brilliant system of Unified Mindfulness, a Holistic Health Teacher from the transformational Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and a graduate from the renowned McLean Meditation Institute where I’ve been a long-time Course Advisor mentoring close to 160 people from around the world enrolled in MMI’s 300-hour Meditation Teacher Academy certification course.

Lisa is such a gift. For the past few years, Lisa has been providing our group of friends with monthly guided meditation classes. Attendance is usually 100% as no one ever wants to miss a session. I asked someone in the group if meditation was still part of her day. She replied that she’s used the Calm app and tried the ‘10 Percent Happier’ meditation challenge, but that the time we spend with Lisa is just so special that nothing compares to using Lisa’s tools, so she just uses those now instead. I had not been myself since the pandemic began and had a great deal of difficulty creating the space to meditate. During one session Lisa introduced us to the poet Mary Oliver and now I love my daily ritual of reading one of her poems and journaling. Our work with Lisa has been life-altering and has shifted my outlook to be so much more positive.

Since 2017, Lisa has been leading our Mindful Living and Meditation program at the Callahan Center (the City of Framingham’s Senior Center.) My introduction to Lisa was purely by chance; she was presenting a free introductory workshop at my local library at the exact time in my life when I was experiencing tremendous amounts of anxiety. She taught us the ‘Loving Kindness’ meditation, and I quite honestly wept halfway through it in relief of the release it unleashed. I began attending weekly group sessions as well as listening to her recorded meditations in between classes, and each week I was taken aback by the feelings it brought up and, in time, the ways her gentle manner helped me create peace inside. To this day, when I think of Lisa, I am immediately grounded. Lisa's quiet and yet profound teachings have made me a happier person, someone who has let go of judgment, obsessive control, and issues with panic thoughts (most of the time - no one is perfect!). Trust is not something I hand out lightly, but I am proud to say I have trusted Lisa with my most sensitive feelings and would never hesitate to do so in the future.
