Lisa Campbell’s Bio

“Your spiritual path is not different than daily life; your life is the practice. You don’t have to do big things to help ease the sorrows of the world. Rather, wake each morning and greet the day with gratitude and reverence. Embrace a slower pace. Offer kindness to those who are struggling, be patient when others are not. Listen deeply to robin’s melody, feel the spaciousness of our blue sky, witness the profound wisdom in the ever-changing seasons and cycles. Be still often and remember your true nature – that’s the practice.” - Lisa Campbell

Lisa Campbell’s happiest memories in life include camping with her grandparents in Canada when she was seven. The smell of the campfire, the untamed freedom of the wilderness, the amazing plants and animals she encountered along the way - and especially the feeling of interconnectedness she felt in the midst of it all - became her NorthStar for living a purposeful life.

Lisa found teachings that spoke of that interconnectedness she longed for in ancient wisdom traditions, and for more than 30 years practiced yoga in the Kripalu tradition studying with brilliant nondual teachers along the way. Wanting to share what she had learned, Lisa spent years in deep practice and training and is a Kripalu-certified Mindful Outdoor Guide, a Kripalu Holistic Health Teacher, a Mindfulness Coach in Shinzen Young’s Unified Mindfulness program, a Warrior’s at Ease Trauma Informed Meditation Teacher, and graduate and former Course Advisor for the McLean Meditation Institute.

A sought-after guest speaker, Lisa shares insights on the benefits of mindfulness at schools, special events, and local businesses including Bose, and Boston Scientific. She's a regular presenter at state conferences such as the Massachusetts Assoc. of Insurance Agents and has presented twice for the Massachusetts Council on Aging focusing on the effects of mindfulness and breathwork for seniors before, during and after the recent pandemic.

Lisa hosts weekly programs for many local senior centers, private clients, and yoga and wellness centers. She finds great fun in collaborating with yoga teachers to bring meditation to retreats at Tower Hill Botanic Gardens, the Providence Zen Center, and weekend retreats in Vermont. Her special nature events on the Equinox, Solstice and Full Moons involve participants creating nature mandalas with found-nature and sacred objects.

An Air Force veteran, Lisa fulfills multiple roles as an entrepreneur, devoted wife, delighted mother, and pet mom for three guinea pigs and one very spicy cat. She is the founder of Waking Up with Nature and Mindfulfilled Meditation, LLC.
